Home-grown Tata Motors Ltd on Monday (March 17) announced a price hike across its entire range of commercial vehicles, effective from April 1, 2025.The price increase, which will be up to 2%, is aimed at offsetting the rising costs of raw materials and other input expenses. This price revision will vary depending on the model and variant of the vehicle.
“Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, today announced a price increase of up to 2%, across its commercial vehicle range, effective 1st April 2025. The price increase is to offset the rise in input costs, and will vary as per individual model and variant,” according to a stock exchange filing.

In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, Tata Motors posted a net profit of ₹7,025 crore.

The company’s revenue increased 1.8% to ₹1.13 lakh crore crore as against ₹1.11 lakh crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. The CNBC-TV18 poll had predicted revenue of ₹1.16 lakh crore for the quarter under review.

Shares of Tata Motors Ltd ended at ₹660.00, up by ₹4.60, or 0.70%, on the BSE.
