Tega Industries Q4 Results: Stock jumps 10% despite sharp margin contraction
Shares of Tega Industries Ltd. surged nearly 10% on Friday, May 29, despite the company reporting a weak set of March quarter earnings.

The company reported a 58.3% year-on-year decline in net profit to ₹42.5 crore for Q4FY26, compared to ₹102 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue from operations also slipped 1.7% year-on-year to ₹527 crore from ₹536 crore a year ago.
At the operating level, EBITDA fell sharply by 60% to ₹60 crore in the March quarter, compared to ₹150 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA margin contracted significantly to 11.4% from 28% last year.

Despite the weak earnings performance, the stock witnessed strong buying interest in Friday’s trade.
