Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler maker Ultraviolette Automotive has expanded its portfolio with the launch of the X-47 Crossover, touted as the world’s first radar-integrated motorcycle.The X-47 is priced at ₹2.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), with an introductory offer of ₹2.49 lakh for the first 1,000 customers. Deliveries in India will begin in October 2025, followed by international rollout next year.The motorcycle will be offered in three colours, Laser Red, Airstrike White, and Shadow Black, along with a special Desert Wing edition that adds a rear luggage rack, saddle stays, and panniers as standard.
At the core of the bike is UV HyperSense, which Ultraviolette claims is the world’s first integrated radar intelligence system using sixth-generation long-range radar technology. The X-47 thus becomes the first commercially launched motorcycle to feature both radar and camera integration.Built on the F77 platform but with a revised chassis and aluminium sub-frame, the X-47 features a beak-style front fender, sculpted tank, and a raked tail section for a distinctive crossover look.
Its ADAS suite offers rider assistance functions such as blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assist, overtake alerts, and rear-collision warnings.The radar system works up to 200 metres, adjusts for lean angles up to 20 degrees, and can automatically activate hazard lights in critical situations.Powering the motorcycle is a 10.3kWh battery pack paired with Ultraviolette’s advanced vehicle platform. The crossover produces 40.2 bhp (30kW) and 610Nm torque at the rear wheel, enabling 0-60 kmph in 2.7 seconds, a top speed of 145 kmph, and an IDC-certified range of 323 km, among the highest for electric motorcycles worldwide.Charging tech is another highlight. Ultraviolette has developed what it calls the world’s most power-dense air-cooled onboard charger, compatible with Type 2 AC car chargers.The bike also debuts Parallel Boost Charging, an industry-first feature where the onboard charger pairs with an auxiliary unit to halve charging times on a standard 16A socket.
