He expressed concern that without local consent, Chinese troops in Balochistan
would pose an ‘unimaginable threat’ and ‘challenge’ to the futures of both India and Balochistan and urged India to strengthen collaboration between “our two great nations”.
“The Republic of Balochistan views the escalating strategic alliance between Pakistan and China as profoundly dangerous. We warn that China, in collaboration with Pakistan, has advanced the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to its final phases. Should the capabilities of Balochistan’s defence and freedom forces not be further bolstered, and if they continue to be overlooked as per longstanding patterns, it is conceivable that China could deploy its military forces in Balochistan within a few months,” he wrote. In his New Year message, he commended India’s actions against Pakistan-backed terrorism, particularly Operation Sindoor, which targeted terrorist hubs in response to the Pahalgam terror attack.
“These measures demonstrate exemplary courage and a steadfast commitment to regional security and justice,” he added.
Baloch also reaffirmed his support for India, stating that the people of Balochistan stand with Bharat in fostering friendship, trust, and mutual interests.
“On behalf of the people of Balochistan, we reaffirm our unwavering support to Bharat and its government in fostering friendship, trust, and mutual interests encompassing peace, prosperity, development, trade, defence, security, future energy challenges, and the mitigation of concealed threats. It is a need of the hour to embrace tangible, reciprocal cooperation. The threats confronting Bharat and Balochistan are genuine and imminent; therefore, our bilateral relations must be equally substantive and actionable,” Baloch said.
In his letter, Baloch extended greetings to the people of India, highlighting the historical and cultural ties between Balochistan and Bharat.
“On behalf of the six crore patriotic citizens of the Republic of Balochistan, we extend our deepest and most sincere congratulations for the New Year 2026 to the one hundred and forty crore people of Bharat, both Houses of Parliament, the media, civil society, and all esteemed individuals. This auspicious occasion provides an opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate the profound historical, cultural, commercial, economic, diplomatic, defence, and multifaceted ties that have bound Bharat and Balochistan for centuries,” he added.
He also announced that the Republic of Balochistan would celebrate the “2026 Balochistan Global Diplomatic Week” in the first week of 2026, aiming to engage directly with countries worldwide.
India has consistently opposed CPEC, citing sovereignty and security concerns. China and Pakistan have denied allegations of military expansion under CPEC, maintaining that the project is economic in nature.
