US-Iran-Israel War Ceasefire Live Updates: “We will end the war very quickly,” US President Donald Trump declared, even as there were no immediate signs of a breakthrough in the US-Iran conflict.Trump also reiterated that Iran “won’t have a nuclear weapon”, maintaining Washington’s hardline stance after months of military escalation between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi claimed Tehran had already imposed heavy costs on the United States, saying the US Congress had acknowledged the loss of “dozens of aircraft worth billions”.

Araghchi also asserted that Iran’s forces became the first to shoot down a touted F-35 fighter jet, warning that any return to war would bring “many more surprises”.

Amid the continuing tensions, Axios reported that despite friction with NATO allies during the conflict, Trump is expected to attend the G7 summit in France next month for talks on artificial intelligence, trade and crime-fighting.
