Zerodha flags MCX glitch, warns of commodity trading disruptions

Brokerage firm Zerodha on Wednesday (May 6) flagged an intermittent technical issue at the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), warning that some commodity trading orders may be rejected or see delays in status updates.In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the company said the disruption is affecting multiple brokers, indicating that the issue appears to be at the exchange level rather than limited to a single platform.

Zerodha advised traders dealing in commodities to exercise caution while placing orders during the disruption. There was no immediate clarification from MCX on the cause of the issue or the expected timeline for full restoration of services.
