The shares were traded at an average price of ₹9,250 apiece, translating into a total deal value of approximately ₹486 crore.
CNBC-TV18 reported on Monday that the company’s promoter Srinivasan Ravi is expected to offload up to a 2.01% stake in the company via a block transaction. The deal size was estimated at around ₹484 crore, including the greenshoe option.The floor price for the transaction was fixed at ₹9,250 per share, which represented a discount to the stock’s previous closing price.
The development comes shortly after Craftsman Automation completed its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), raising nearly ₹2,000 crore from institutional investors.The company had approved the allotment of 22.98 lakh equity shares to eligible Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) at an issue price of ₹8,700 per share. Through the share sale, Craftsman Automation mobilised approximately ₹2,000 crore.
Following the allotment, the company’s paid-up equity share capital increased to ₹13.08 crore, comprising 2.62 crore equity shares of face value ₹5 each, compared to ₹11.93 crore comprising 2.39 crore equity shares prior to the issue.
The QIP opened on June 15 and closed on June 18.
Based on the March quarter shareholding pattern, promoters of Craftsman Automation had a 48.70% stake in the company.
Shares of Craftsman Automation ended Monday’s trading session 3.43% lower at ₹9,470 apiece. The stock has gained 23% so far in 2026.
