Epack Prefab, BMW Ventures shares list at a discount of up to 25% from their issue price

Shares of Epack Prefab Technologies Ltd. and BMW Ventures Ltd. made their stock market debut at a steep discount to their IPO price.Epack Prefab Technologies shares made their stock market debut at a price of ₹183 per share, which is a 10.2% discount to their issue price of ₹204 per share.

BMW Ventures had a forgettable debut as well, with the stock beginning trading at ₹78 per share, in comparison to its IPO price of ₹99, a discount of 21% against its issue price.

Epack Prefab Technologies had a ₹504 crore IPO, which comprised of a fresh issue of ₹300 crore and an offer for sale component of ₹204 crore. The overall issue saw subscription of three times the total shares on offer.The portion reserved for Qualified Institutional Bidders (QIBs) was subscribed 5 times, while that for non-institutional investors was subscribed 3.7 times. The retail investor portion saw overall subscription of 1.7 times the shares on offer during its three-day period.

The BMW Ventures IPO comprised of a complete fresh issue of equity worth ₹232 crore. The overall issue barely managed to see full subscription with 1.5 times the overall size. The retail portion failed to see full subscription here, seeing a 0.99x figure at the end of the three-day period.
