RailTel bags ₹29 crore SD-WAN contract from Madhya Pradesh State Crime Records Bureau

Telecom infrastructure firm RailTel Corporation of India Ltd on Wednesday (March 25) said it has received a work order from the State Crime Records Bureau, Bhopal, for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning (SITC) of a Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) 2025 along with three years of support.The order, valued at ₹29.48 crore including taxes, is to be executed by March 24, 2029. The work order was received on March 25, 2026. The contract is domestic and does not involve any interest of the promoter or promoter group. It does not fall under related-party transactions. The order will be carried out under the approval of the Executive Director/Western Region of RailTel.


Last week, RailTel Corporation of India Ltd said it has received a work order worth ₹42.63 crore, including tax, from National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI) for the New Core Link under the National Knowledge Network (NKN) project.

The work order was received on March 16. RailTel also confirmed that the promoter, promoter group, or group companies do not have any interest in the entity awarding the contract. The order does not fall under related party transactions.

Shares of Railtel Corporation of India Ltd ended at ₹268.65, up by ₹6.50, or 2.48%, on the BSE.
