US defense firms agree to quadruple production of “exquisite class” weaponry: Trump

US President Donald Trump said that US defense manufacturing companies has agreed to quadruple production of “exquisite class” weaponry to reach the highest levels of quantity as rapidly as possible.In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said he met with the largest US defense manufacturing companies to discuss production and production schedules, describing the meeting as a “very good” one.

Trump added that expansion had already begun three months before the meeting, with plants being set up and production of many of these weapons already underway.

Trump claimed that the United States has a virtually unlimited supply of medium and upper medium grade munitions, which he said are being used, for example, in Iran and were recently used in Venezuela, while orders at these levels have also been increased.

The meeting included the CEOs of BAE Systems, Boeing, Honeywell Aerospace, L3Harris Missile Solutions, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon, and concluded with another meeting scheduled in two months.
