Contact with ISI agency confirmed
Malhotra has been in communication with an agent from Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), News18 reported citing sources familiar with the ongoing probe.While police have not found any chat logs between Malhotra and Pakistan High Commission official Danish post-March, they confirmed that she was in touch with him during ‘Operation Sindoor’.
Preliminary findings suggest that she maintained contact with him from 2023 to 2025.

Devices and diary seized, financial links under lens
Three mobile phones and a laptop belonging to Malhotra have been seized for forensic analysis. Authorities are verifying her digital footprints to establish further connections.
During a search at Malhotra’s residence, authorities also found a personal diary containing emotional notes such as “Love you,” and “Tell Savita to bring fruits. Take care of home. I will be back soon.”
The officials are now trying to determine the identity of Savita and her proximity to Malhotra’s family.
Investigators are also reviewing the financial transactions from her two bank accounts to identify any foreign funding, as per the report.
Pakistani asset development, Bangladesh trip next
Superintendent of Police, Hisar, Shashank Kumar Sawan, stated that Malhotra was being cultivated as an asset. “They were developing her as an asset. She was in touch with other YouTube influencers, and they were also in touch with the PIOs,” he said.

“She used to go to Pakistan, like on sponsored trips. She was in Pakistan before the Pahalgam attack,” Sawan was quoted as saying by News18. He also confirmed her previous visits to Pakistan and China adding that other individuals may also be involved in the matter.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has retrieved a visa application for Bangladesh from Malhotra’s belongings, indicating further travel plans. Malhotra had reportedly also visited Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam shortly before the terror attack that killed 26 people.
