Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty is on the rise, with a surge of 200 points, as markets look to cement the recent gains. The Nifty Bank index is also up, rising 140 points, and is inching towards the 55,000 mark. The challenge is the sharp surge in the Indian crude basket, which made a record high of $142.The Nifty Bank, while in the green, is trading marginally lower than the Nifty 50 and the Sensex.
