However, the White House cautioned that any violence beyond this point would be the responsibility of the Iranian regime, stating that it would indicate a refusal to understand that it has already been defeated. It also warned Iran against miscalculation, saying the US is prepared to escalate with stronger action if Tehran does not accept the situation.
Trump’s China visit

The confirmation follows earlier reports, on March 17, that Trump had delayed a planned diplomatic trip to China. The visit, which had been in the works for months, was postponed amid broader geopolitical tensions.
Speaking on March 17 during a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin in the Oval Office, Trump said he would travel to China in “five or six weeks’ time” instead of at the end of the month, adding that he would be “resetting” his visit with Xi Jinping without elaborating further.
